Following circuses decline in the 20th century, obliquely contrasts moving images arrival. We swapped tents for tv boxes, to deliver us from this world. Now as mankind prepares to conquer worlds yet to be invented with virtual reality, I’m revisiting the first circus tent, placed in a void land. The more the performer attempts to enter the tent, the less successful she is.
First a Tent was first performed live on the 8th and 10th of April 2016 Circus Between Worlds as part of Glasgow International.
